Data Engineer

Job Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team and help us build efficient, scalable data solutions that power the future of data-driven decision-making in esports and sports analytics. If you’re passionate about clean code, automation, and well-structured data — this role is for you!

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and implement efficient data pipelines to support analytics and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain custom dashboards for visualizing key business metrics.
• Structure, clean, and organize datasets for further analysis.
• Monitor and optimize dashboard performance, making updates as needed.
• Build and manage data scraping tools using Selenium and other frameworks.
• Deploy and maintain pipelines and services with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
• Ensure adherence to Python best practices (PEP 8, clean code, type hints).
• Write well-structured, maintainable code that scales across environments.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Python (OOP) development.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with the Flask framework.
• Familiarity with web scraping tools (Selenium or similar).
• Understanding of data visualization concepts and ability to build dashboards.
• Knowledge of clean code, type annotations, and unit testing principles.
• Nice to have: Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases; Frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for custom dashboard development; Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
